How to remedy the serious loss of sand from the sand washing production line?

As we all know, in the reasonable and environmentally friendly configuration method of the entire sand production line, it is a popular trend to equip with pulse dust collector and water washing sand washing machine. In the waste water of wet sand washing, fine sand and surface sand are inevitably lost with the flow of water, and each production line will lose about 5%-25% of the content. The amount of loss in one year is also very alarming. If these lost parts are collected, this part of the profit is also very considerable. This article shares four methods of fine sand recovery.

Sand washing machine classification

  Sand washing machine is divided into bucket sand washing machine and spiral sand washing machine:

  Wheel bucket sand washing machine is widely used in the washing of materials in the fields of mining, building materials, chemical industry, transportation, concrete mixing plant, etc. The sand washing process is a circular motion.

   Spiral sand washing equipment uses the propelling action of the spiral blades to clean the soil. Compared with the wheel sand washing machine, the spiral sand washing machine has a higher cleaning degree and has a better cleaning effect on stones. In the same way, the sand, mud, and water are used to extract the sand, and the water and mud flow along the chute.

However, no matter what kind of sand washing machine, in the process of stirring the water source, most of the sand will inevitably be taken up, and the separation is not clear, and it will flow away along the water tank at the same time. Then inevitably caused most of the loss.

Four methods of fine sand recovery

   1. Multi-stage sedimentation tank sedimentation method

   The sand washing wastewater flows into the sedimentation tank. It is best to equip with 3 layers. After time, the sedimentation layer by layer. Because the proportion of sand and mud is heavier, they can be separated after a relatively long period of time.

  Of course, this method also has drawbacks. The long-term precipitation process takes up a large area of the sedimentation tank. In the later stage, it is necessary to manually excavate the sedimentation sand and sedimentation mud, which consumes a lot of time and manpower.

  1. Equipped with dewatering screen equipment    The sand washing wastewater is directly discharged to the surface of the linear dewatering screen to recover the lost sand.   The disadvantage is that the raw material contains little or no mud, then there will be no problem, but if there is too much mud, this last link will be useless, and it will not be able to recycle at all. What is recycled is a mixture of mud and sand.   3, fine sand recovery device recovery

The waste water from sand washing is directly discharged to the lower water tank part of the fine sand collector, and the mixed sand and muddy water is pumped to the cyclone separator and discharged onto the screen surface by the slurry pump. The fine sand part is discharged along the screen surface, and the mud and water are discharged. It flows back to the lower water tank to form a cycle, continuously extracting sand from the waste water.

  No other faulty and theoretical problems have been found for the time being, and this fine sand recovery device is also recognized on the market.

The operation of the fine sand recovery machine should pay attention to two points: first, do not enter the material when starting, it is recommended to enter the material after a few laps, which is more reasonable and can reduce the burden on the equipment; second, the overall power must be considered when configuring the transformer. Properly configure more voltages to ensure that the equipment can work normally and will not operate under low voltage.

   4. Adding chemical agents

   The lost sand water is discharged into a sink tank, and a chemical agent that can cause mud and sand to quickly condense into flocs is added to achieve rapid separation of sand and water. However, this method is mostly used in the coal slime industry to recover and use refined coal and fine coal. The use in sand and gravel yard has certain limitations and cannot be popularized for the time being.
